In addition to allowing secure access to Hub members, the Onehub FTP Gateway can also be used with public Hubs to allow anonymous access.
Making the Hub public
Before the FTP Gateway can be used anonymously, a Hub must first be set to be publicly accessible. This setting is found in the Hub’s Manage section under Hub Access. Check the box to make the Hub public. Next choose the level of access anonymous users have by selecting a public role. Once this setting has been saved, the Hub URL will be displayed in the blue box above the Public setting. The URL will need to be supplied as the username in your FTP client to login over FTP anonymously.

Turning on Anonymous FTP
Still under Manage, switch to Hub FTP Access. Now check the boxes to enable FTP and anonymous access, then save.

The files in our Hub can now be accessed via FTP anonymously by using the following settings:
- Server: ftp.onehub.com
- Username: The Hub URL (can be found on the Hub Access screen)
- Password: Leave this blank
- Port: 2021
The pages and files widgets will display in your FTP client and you can navigate to the correct file from there.
