A while back we introduced the ability to make your Workspaces public. This was a great way to share information with a large group of people when accountability and security weren’t a big concern. Since then, we’ve had a few people ask if there was a way to setup a generic login for their Workspaces. Now there is!
Last week we added the option to set a generic password for public workspaces to give you more flexibility for how you share them.
When a password is set, guests are shown a branded login page upon first accessing the Workspace.
Setup
To set this up for your Workspace, navigate to the Manage section and click on Public Access. Once there just enter a password in the field and make sure to check the box to make the Workspace public.
After saving, you can share the Workspace URL and password with as many people as you would like and they will all be able to access the information you have stored inside.
